Simpson recommends only soap and water for cleaning your shield. You should never use an alcohol or ammonia based cleaner such as window cleaner.

The lightweight outer shell restricts external penetration and works with the inner liner to increase energy absorption and reduce G-forces inside the helmet.
 
The Venator Pro 8860 is FIA 8860 and Snell SA 2015 certified, and helmet peak accessories are available.

    A note about head and neck supports (HANS):-
    We offer helmets with HANS posts fitted by the helmet manufacturer (OEM), a helmet option that is pre drilled, or a helmet without Hans options.
    We would strongly recommend that if the helmet is intended for use with a HANS device, that the posts are factory fitted by Simpson at the time the helmet is produced.
